Time

Home > Clock-In Mode > Time

The time shown on the Clock-In Mode home screen is synchronized with SwipePoint's cloud servers and does not depend on the local clock of a phone or tablet. This keeps clock-in times consistent for every user. The displayed time is adjusted automatically according to the user's selected time zone.

Date

Home > Clock-In Mode > Date

The system displays the current date according to the user's selected time zone so that it matches the organization's local time.

Day of the Week

Home > Clock-In Mode > Day of the Week

The system displays the current day of the week according to the user's selected time zone.

Current Time

Home > Clock-In Mode > Current Time

Date and Time

The Clock-In Mode home screen displays the current date and a live clock, such as “Wednesday, April 23” and “09:49:02.” The display follows the user's selected time zone.

Cloud Sync

Each clock-in record is synchronized to the cloud automatically. Records can be restored if a user changes devices or encounters a device problem. Cloud sync also gives HR staff and administrators access to the latest attendance data.

Refresh Rate

The displayed time refreshes every second and remains synchronized with the server.

Change Time Zone

Users may change their own time zone. This does not change the organization's time zone or another user's setting.

Data Protection

Clock-in data is encrypted in transit and at rest on cloud servers. SwipePoint follows applicable data-protection requirements to help prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

Identity

Home > Clock-In Mode > Identity

The Clock-In Mode home screen shows the identity of the signed-in user, including their name and job title, for example, “Alex Wang.”

Job Title

Home > Clock-In Mode > Job Title

The user's current job title appears on the Clock-In Mode home screen.

The Leave-Hour Summary shows the remaining balance for entitlement-based leave and the accumulated use of general leave. Users can review the usage of each leave type in this area.

Tip: Pull down on the screen to refresh the data.

Note: If an entitlement-based or general leave type does not appear, an administrator has disabled its display.

Leave Status

Home > Clock-In Mode > Leave Status

If the balance is incorrect, contact your organization administrator.

Compensatory Leave

Home > Clock-In Mode > Leave Status > Compensatory Leave

This area shows the user's compensatory-leave status and remaining hours. Tap it to view details.

If the balance is incorrect, contact your organization administrator.

Sick Leave

Home > Clock-In Mode > Leave Status > Sick Leave

Users can view the sick-leave hours used during the current year and tap the item for details. The displayed hours depend on the organization's settings and the user's scheduled work hours.

Under Taiwan's Regulations of Leave-Taking of Workers, ordinary sick leave taken without hospitalization may not exceed 30 days in one year. Conversion to hours depends on the user's scheduled hours per workday and the organization's settings; it is not always based on an eight-hour day.

Personal Leave

Home > Clock-In Mode > Leave Status > Personal Leave

Users can view the personal-leave hours used during the current year and tap the item for details. The displayed hours depend on the organization's settings and the user's scheduled work hours.

Under Taiwan's Regulations of Leave-Taking of Workers, personal leave may not exceed 14 days in one year. Conversion to hours depends on the user's scheduled hours per workday and the organization's settings; it is not always based on an eight-hour day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What can I do in Clock-In Mode?

A: Clock-In Mode provides shortcuts for clock-in records, attendance, leave requests, clock-in corrections, schedules, applications, uploads, announcements, policies, goals, shared organization files, and public holidays. The bottom navigation opens Home, Explore, Premium, and More, while the main button starts a clock-in action.

Q2: How does the system keep clock-in times accurate?

A: SwipePoint uses server-synchronized time instead of the device's local clock. The display refreshes every second and follows the user's selected time zone.

Q3: Where can I verify my identity?

A: Your name and job title appear on the Clock-In Mode home screen so you can verify which account is signed in.

Q4: How do I review my leave status?

A: Open the Leave-Hour Summary or Leave Status area on the Clock-In Mode home screen, then tap a leave type for details. Pull down to refresh. Contact your organization administrator if a balance is incorrect.

Q5: Why is SwipePoint's time different from my phone's time?

A: SwipePoint uses server-synchronized time and the selected time zone to provide a consistent clock-in reference. A different device clock does not change the official clock-in time.

Q6: What does cloud sync do?

A: It uploads clock-in data after each clock-in action, supports record recovery after a device change or failure, and gives authorized HR staff and administrators access to current attendance data.

Q7: Can I change my time zone, and will it affect anyone else?

A: Yes. Your setting changes only your own time display and does not change the organization's or another user's time zone.

Q8: Is my clock-in data secure?

A: Clock-in data is encrypted during transmission and storage. SwipePoint applies relevant data-protection requirements to help prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
